(13)Nairn

Nairn Venue for the 1999 Walker Cup. Founded in 1887 and created from a wilderness of heather and whim. It should noted that only St Andrews, Muirfield and Turnberry are the only other Scottish courses to have held the Walker Cup, so Nairn is in excellent company. This is a tough course, especially if the seaside winds are present, which they often are, but one that will be a thrill to pit your wits and golfing skills against.

This is a traditional Scottish links. A championship course, which has been the venue for the Amateur Championship in 1994 and hosted the 37th Walker Cup in 1999. Nairn is renowned for the quality and speed of the greens. Founded in 1887 and designed by Old Tom Morris, James Braid and A. Simpson. 18 holes , 6,745 yards. Par 72 (SSS 74). Amateur record: S. Tomisson 66. Pro record: D. Small 65.
